The Event
Affiliate World Asia has established itself as the premier gathering for performance marketers and e-commerce entrepreneurs in Southeast Asia.
This year’s edition brought together over 7,000 attendees from more than 110 countries, creating an incredible melting pot of affiliate marketers, media buyers, network representatives, and technology providers.
The exhibition hall featured 200+ exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge solutions for campaign optimisation, tracking, and monetisation.
Networking and Partnerships
For me, the primary goal was networking and building new business relationships. The conference delivered beyond expectations. Between sessions, I connected mainly with agencies, affiliates, and product owners from across the globe.
I walked away with a dozen promising contacts and several potential partnership opportunities that align perfectly with my work as a technical SEO consultant at TechSEO Vitals.

Standout Speaker: Niels Zee
Among the impressive lineup of speakers, Niels Zee stood out as my favourite. The Dutch affiliate marketer and author of “The Payout Mafia” shared invaluable insights. What resonated most was his practical approach to pivoting strategies, particularly his success story of transitioning from SEO-dependent affiliate marketing to profitable Google Ads campaigns after algorithm updates devastated organic traffic.
His message about flexibility and adaptability in today’s changing environment was exactly what many of us needed to hear.
Final Thoughts
The conference covered essential topics including AI-driven campaign optimisation and creative frameworks that scale across social platforms. The quality of content was genuinely actionable, not surface-level overviews, but granular tactics from practitioners actively running successful campaigns.
Affiliate World Asia 2025 reinforced why Bangkok remains a crucial hub for the affiliate marketing community. The combination of world-class content, high-quality networking opportunities, and the vibrant energy of Bangkok itself creates an experience that’s hard to replicate.
I’m already looking forward to next year’s edition and following up on the connections I made. If you’re in performance marketing and haven’t attended AWA yet, put it on your calendar.
