What’s Getting Banned

The new rules target pill presses and machines that stuff powders into capsules. Google also bans the parts that go with these machines.

You can’t advertise tableting machines, dies, molds, stamps, or punches anymore. Basically anything used to make or mark pills and tablets is out.

How It Rolls Out

September 1 starts the crackdown, but Google will phase it in over six weeks. They won’t just shut down accounts right away. You get at least seven days warning before Google suspends your account. That gives you time to fix things or pull your ads.

What Sellers Must Do

  • Check your ads now
  • If you sell this stuff, delete those ads before September

Google says review everything, so don’t wait until the last minute.

This fits Google’s pattern of cutting out risky products. They’ve done similar bans before on other dangerous items.

Nobody wants their whole Google Ads account suspended over one bad product. The revenue loss could be huge for businesses that rely on Google traffic. Smart sellers will audit their campaigns this week and remove anything questionable.
