270 Million Weekly Customers Await

Walmart offers UK sellers immediate access to its massive customer base – 270 million customers visit more than 10,750 stores and e-commerce sites weekly across 19 countries. The company’s marketplaces span the US, Canada, Mexico, and Chile.

Andrea Albright, Executive VP and Chief Growth Officer at Walmart International, emphasized the opportunity:

“UK and European businesses have a well-earned reputation for quality, innovation and exceptional design.”

London Office and Summit Launch

The UK Seller Summit on September 9 will provide hands-on support for cross-border expansion. Attendees will receive guidance on growth strategies, merchant connections, and direct access to solution providers.

Leading manufacturers and exporters from fashion, home, kitchen, sporting goods, beauty, and entertainment sectors have been invited. Registration is now live for the London event.

Two-Day US Delivery Promise

Approved sellers gain access to Walmart Fulfillment Services, enabling two-day delivery to most US customers using Walmart’s supply chain infrastructure. The service operates year-round except during peak season (October-December).

UK sellers will also receive support from a local onboarding team based in the new London office, plus access to marketplace tools for managing promotions and identifying growth opportunities.

Competitive Fulfillment Across Americas

Beyond the US market, Walmart offers competitive fulfillment solutions in Canada, Mexico, and Chile. The company positions this as an opportunity for European sellers to “rapidly scale up across the Atlantic.”

Global Marketplace Strategy

The UK recruitment drive reflects Walmart’s heavy investment in marketplace growth as competition intensifies with Amazon and platforms like Temu and TikTok Shop.

Walmart’s trusted third-party seller community provides the foundation for this international expansion, with the company promising “speed, scale and support that only Walmart can provide.”
